CREATION
APPLICATIONS so you've checked out our rules and other need to know information, and have decided to join? good for you! this is where our applications are located - two types, freestyle and traditional, just for you. unfinished applications should be placed in the appropriate sub board.
CLAIMS following the acceptance of your character, swing by here and claim the essentials, such as their playby, aim screen name and phone number, and sports positions. make sure that you at least claim the playby, so we don't have several of the same face claim running amok!
PLOTTING following that whole creation and claiming jazz, this is where you can post a plot page to get your character involved in roleplay, either in a relations thread or want ad - don't be afraid to check our want ads out, either! there are plenty in this board to suit different tastes.
DEVELOPMENT the equivalent of log books, this is the board where each role player gets a thread in which they can explore their character in greater depth. post facts, songs for muse, tables, or anything that tickles your fancy and would help you further develop your character.
COMMUNICATION stalk your crush on social networks, set up blogs or journals to explore your deepest thoughts and desires, drunk text your friend - you can do all of this and more, right in this board.
MINI THREADS sometimes it's easier to get a major thread done with mini posts and rapid fire, so you can do all of that here. major events like parties can be played out in here if there's going to be multiple people in the same thread. past and future threads can also be played out here.
ABANDONED FAIRVIEW HIGH after a great fire, fairview now left abandoned, till administration decide on what to do with the former school, now fairview is boarded up with a large fence around the school to keep those away from the dangerous falling apart school, some have found a way to sneak into this once historic land-marker.

ORCHID HILLS ACADEMY sprawling at the end of a winding, cobbled drive, orchid hills academy clearly dominates the school scene with its private education in academics, such as math and the sciences. due to the students living on campus, in dorms, a strict hierarchy based on wealth has been formed, resulting in this school's fair share of drama. students are required to wear uniforms, much to the mirth of their fairview high counterparts.
BLUEWATER COMMUNITY COLLEGE bluewater's pride and joy is in the form of their own community college, where graduates from both orchid hills academy and fairview high school attend. wealthier families tend to send their children abroad, but this college is esteemed for its prowess in athletics and the arts. with its colonial framework and supposedly haunted hallways, the college is undisputably the oldest building in town.
DOWNTOWN despite being a small and a little isolated, bluewater does have a bustling heart to its town. downtown is an area that acts as a go-between from school, home and the beach. with its clubs and cafes, the mall and hospital, this is the area of town that gets both the majority of tourists and also the majority of civillians on a day to day basis. there is something for everyone here, although the 'everyone knows everyone else' atmosphere can get a little smothering...
SUBURBIA due to its vast socio-economic scope, suburban bluewater does vary quite a lot. the general rule is that the closer the houses and apartment blocks are to the beach, the wealthier the family. however, all of the houses are generally kept in good condition, with most sporting that generic white-picket, all-american wholesomeness. splitting the concrete jungle in half is the green wedge of bluewater's own park, equipped with a playground for the kids and a copse of forest for all you delinquents out there.
PORT BLUEWATER the port is bluewater's strongest selling point, what with attracting tourists in their dozens during both the off season and summer. yachts dot the horizon that is marred by the crested peaks of waves, and a dense forest surrounds the strip of sound, dotted with tumbled cliffs and other natural landmarks. the locals of bluewater know where the best spots are to get a tan and host a bonfire, and several seaside shops hae sprung up to compensate for a long day spent in the sun.
VACATION sure, bluewater can feel enclosed and isolated on the best of days, but it isn't your entire world. don't forget the long strip of highway that leads out of this town, nor the domestic airport and links to the bigger terminals in san francisco and other outlying cities. whether you're interested in a road trip or really need to get away from the town that you know way too well, remember that bluewater is always happy to take you back. home is where the heart is, afterall.
